Vision
The vision for Hub City Kids is to create a safe culture of discipleship amongst individual families and within our church family and one that ultimately extends out into our community. We serve children from birth to 4th grade.
-
Curriculum
We use the Gospel Project Curriculum to teach through the whole Bible and learn how Jesus shows up in every story of the Bible: from Creation to the very last verse in Revelation. This curriculum comes with activity sheets and ways for families to learn at home.
-
Get Involved
If you are interested in volunteering in the Kid’s ministry we have positions for teachers and helpers in School Age, Preschool and the Nursery. All of our volunteers have to pass a background check.

At Hub City Kids we use the Gospel Project curriculum. Kids learn about God’s love and truth through each “Unit” of Lessons that are completely based on scripture from the Bible.
-
We start by introducing the “Unit” lesson for that day, sharing the key verse/passage, asking questions for kids' understanding, and connecting it back to the Christ Connection.
-
We will switch off and on between doing crafts or an activity. Our activity always coordinates with the day’s lesson and gets the kids up and moving. Craft time is a great way to learn the lesson in a different, tactile way. The craft most always coordinates with the day’s lesson and is a good opportunity for you to reiterate the lesson as the kid’s are completing their craft.
Our curriculum’s activity page always coordinates with the story and contains the “Unit’s” main Verse, Big Picture Question and Answer, along with a QR code with at-home resources and videos. These are taken home with each kid, to reflect or further discuss what they learned with their parent/s.
-
Free play is an opportunity for adults and teen helpers to interact with kids on the kid’s level. Using this opportunity to embed more of the teaching into conversations and play.
